I feel honored to be associated with Global Travel and Tourism Partnership (GTTP) program . We have recently entered into GTTP and hope this ties proves to be a milestone in transforming our nation into a prosperous country via tourismGTTP Nepal works to educate and train the teachers and youngsters to know about tourism industry, its importance and the career prospects in the travel and tourism sectors. We help the needy learner’s link for the internship opportunities and to gain on hand experience .We offer Passport to the world curriculum for senior secondary to undergraduate level students. Besides, we also provide the teachers various trainings programs to teach about the industry in the classroom creating interest to the students.
Nepal is a country with plenty of natural beauty, hence here exists the huge tourism prospects. Millions of youth each year are immigrating abroad in pursue of jobs. It is essential to retain those youth in the nation by providing career & entrepreneurial opportunities in the tourism industry.
GTTP Nepal provide the opportunities for students to present their skills and ability in national as well as international platform .Students through national competition get chance to take part in GTTP international Research competition which is organized annually by GTTP Head Quarters . The program is a presentation more than competition that enables each participants to know about the global community.
Finally I would like to acknowledge gratitude to all the team members of Tourism Research & Training Institute (TRTI), all the supportive teachers and school leaders, the regional partners and everyone who has supported directly or indirectly to inspire us in our journey. I am very much thankful to entire GTTP family for providing us with this great opportunity.
